12 Soundtracks of My Life

6 Dec

Life is a carousel
Dancing ’round the mirrors we go up and down
So let the music take away the hurt you’ve come to know so well…- Hands of Time/Rachel Diggs

Have you ever watch the movie with no soundtrack? It likes a person without an emotion. I believe every person have there own soundtrack of their life, so do I.

I choose twelve songs to be my soundtrack to match with the months in one year. As we all aware that this year comes to an end and the very bright new year is mirthfully to arrive.

I think this is a good time for us to start recap our from the beginning. Let’s see what was happen to me in this whole wonderful/suck year of 2011.

#1 January

  • New Soul – Yale Naim … I love this song. I made me feel sad & alive at the same time. It made me think about myself when I stared working, I’m just a rookie, always feel like an outcast, can’t fit in etc. and even three years was passed…I still feel the same. But I always feel grateful to have a job though.

#2 February

  •  Beautiful – Christina Aguilera … Well, This is the month of LOVE. I gave all my love to my family for their love & supportive. My mom always taught me to love myself & appreciated who I am. So I can see the beauty in me, in people & see how beautiful the world is.

#3 March

  • Skyscraper – Demi Lovato … What is getting worst than working with a back stabber college & the awful boss! I have to say this was a rough month and this song was reminded me about my goal & how great my life is if I can ignore all this awful person.

#4 April

  • Good Life – One Republic … love love love this song! Some people really don’t know how good & wonderful their life are, so ashamed. I love my life & this song really made my day when I’m feeling down. It brings back my smile :).

#5 May

  • Fireflies – Owl City … This is a cute song & so inspiring. It made me see the world in difference perspective.

#6 June

  • Stereo Hearts – Gyms Class Heroes ft. Adam Lavine … This is my birth month so the song I picked must be special. I love this song ‘coz of its metaphor. every note, every word in this song make my imagination run wild & also made me feel warm in my heart.

#7 July

  • Uh Oh, I’m falling – Shelly Fraley … Great song when I fall in love, especially with this one ;). When I heard this song, I always think about him.

#8 August

  •  Where The Road Meets The Sun – Katie Herzig & Matthew Perryman Jones … When I heard this song, I feel warm & cosy. I really feel like to put on my flora print dress and dancing around in the field (like in the Sound of Music)

#9 September

  • Fresh Pair of Eyes – Brooke Waggoner … love the melody, so soft & sweet. Have you ever look at someone and he/she made you blush? I have the same feeling with this song.

#10 October

  •  Here Comes the Sun – The Beatles … This is the dream comes true month! ‘coz I finally can get that awful boss of my back (she’s resigned). Now the sun will shine for me again.

#11 November

  • Lucky – Jason Mraz ft. Colbie Caillat … I can really feel the blessing, My BFFs, My family, My house, My job, All the nice people around me etc. I’m so LUCKY!

#12 December

  • Hands of Time – Rachel Diggs … Here comes the last month of this year. I picked this song ‘coz of the meaning. Left the bad thing behind, keep the good thing & start the best year ever in the next year ‘coz you can’t go back ans change anything in the past so…LET IT GO & BE HAPPY

Hope you guys have the best year

Have fun

XOXO

Hello lovely reader,

I knew you guyz might think I’m crazy to thankful of such a thing but everything has two sides. I can’t leave home for like a month so I can spend more quality time with my family longer, remind me about how much I love to write, we can see though people when the awful thing happen, unity is important in the country and I know we will survive this disaster. PRAY FOR THAILAND

Scooby 70s Doooo

13 Nov

Hello lovely reader ^^

Please tell me…who is not love the scooby doo show? I’m the one that “love” the show! It’s cute, funny & always has a mind blowing at the end everytime (but some time I can guess ;p) But one thing that made the show so unique is the way that it represents the 70s. You can see from the out fit & I’m some kind of the 70s girls ‘coz I still in love with the fashion from that ere.

The new project from IFB (Independent Fashion Blogger) really made me go through my closet. I’ve a mix style in my closet but something really stood up in there is…my maxi dress!!! I love maxi-dress. It’s cute & comfortable to wear.

“By 1970 women chose who they wanted to be and if they felt like wearing a short mini skirt one day and a maxi dress, midi skirt or hot pants the next day – that’s what they did.” By Pauline Weston Thomas for Fashion-Era.com

It’s so funny that the 70’s girl are so much like the gemini girl! They was known back then as a “hippie”. I think because of their life are “happy”! Anyway cut of the chit-chat and let’s take a look at the photos.

And now the poka-dots is back “in” trend again.
Must have for this season!

The finale dress of this post goes to…Maxi-dress!!!

Whatever the fashion decades you are into…just have fun & proudly wearing your dress! Remember…being yourself is most important part in fashion.

Cheers to all 70’s GIRL!!! XOXO
